So beautiful and I can't have it in a tropical island. I saw it at Japan.

I used to grow bonsai when I lived in the valley but when I moved to the foothills it was just too cold. This is one of the most beautiful trees I've seen. I love wisteria bonsai.

I am not very good at growning plants as I only think to water them when they are starting to die. :( But I love bonsai, too.

Very crisp, well done Paula.

I find it interesting how large the flowers themselves are compared to the tree.

Thanks. Yes, it's kind of funny how the plant is miniature but the blossoms are still full sized. The azalea one was like that also. :D

Maybe it indicates a "false" bonsai?

I'm not sure what indicated a false bonsai. I always thought bonsai's were just plants that you grew that stayed small. Not sure if they can make the blooms smaller.

Hm,

Good point/question, I don't know either. Have you ever seen a bonsai apple tree (or orange)?

Ok, see the apple tree? The fruits look really big - fake bonsai
Clamondin Mandarin Orange - small fruits, real bonsai

Or so I think

I think you're full of it. I just think the oranges are a smaller variety. I don't think there is such thing as a fake bonsai. :D But what do I know...I'm full of it, too.

I like bamboo but don't have any. I have a plant in my office at work that seems to be heading to the grave very soon. The ones at home do okay because they're all crammed into my bathroom where there is a wall heater that keeps them nice and warm. :D

My bathroom doesn't have a shower in it (it's in the other bathroom) but I have two nice windows and it's small and warm in there so it's perfect...plus they get watered 'cause I'm right by the sink!
