Beautiful! I love the colors, they're so rich. I want to sit under that tree and read.

breath-consuming!!! I saw your pics on google when I was googling acers and now finally I have a chance to fave them.. amazing... where were they taken? I'd guess Japan because I never saw so big, old and such perfectly shaped palmatum anywhere else.. on the other hand I didn't see that many gardens yet..

umm not that I know of. or it's private.. I'm from Slovenia (Europe) and japanese maples are kinda new trend here :) and not many know japanese culture or aren't interested in it so much. But I'm studying japanese so there's a big chance I'll go straight to Japan to visit their gardens ;)
Anyway thank you for your gorgeous photos and lots of inspiration! Will be stopping by a lot probably ;) Have a nice day

It looks like you have a botanical garden [link] but I'm not sure if it has any Japanese maples.

haha :D I know that one, but no, no maples there. Thank you for your effort ;) Though I'm kinda happy you didn't find it because that would be pretty embarassing- I'm from Slovenia and I should know that :D we're really small country..
