breath-consuming!!! I saw your pics on google when I was googling acers and now finally I have a chance to fave them.. amazing... where were they taken? I'd guess Japan because I never saw so big, old and such perfectly shaped palmatum anywhere else.. on the other hand I didn't see that many gardens yet..

Portland Japanese garden?? If that's the case I'm very very jealous because it's amazing and would love to visit it someday! it's oh so japanese.. ^.^ And they're having plant sales :F oh well.. maybe someday

umm not that I know of. or it's private.. I'm from Slovenia (Europe) and japanese maples are kinda new trend here

and not many know japanese culture or aren't interested in it so much. But I'm studying japanese so there's a big chance I'll go straight to Japan to visit their gardens
