This was taken back in July....another pic I forgot to post.
I loved going to this waterfall. You start on a path in a slot canyon, which eventually forces you into the creek. Depending on the time of year, the water can get as high as chest level. Fortunately, we were there mid-summer and it wasn't quite waist deep. There is currently a log jam that you have to climb over, but if you take it slow, it's not too difficult. It's only about a half mile to the falls where you are greeted with this spectacular sight. The rock walls are covered with moss and ferns and it's very cool....perfect for a hot summer day.

I really want to spend some time in the Gorge this summer ... but um, hmm, scrambling over logjams while 6 months pregnant might be a bit much. Next year, maybe!
