Mt Shuksan and Star Trailsby *La-Vita-a-Bella

Normally a person wouldn't attempt star trail shots with the moon blazing in the sky...especially just out of the line of sight of the lens.

But I'm not normally up at Mt. Shuksan.

And I'm definitely not normally there at night.

So, even though I knew the conditions weren't ideal, I was there...five hours away from home....in the dark...in the cold....all by myself.

Just me and my camera.

I had to shoot it.

And even though it bothers me that the moon ruined the beautiful star trails, I can't help but love the moonlight on the mountain.
