This is my first picture processed in Photoshot Elements 7 instead of using Microsoft Digital Image Suite. There are things I like and dislike about the switch, but that's usually with anything new.
This house has been abandoned for a long time. There used to be two smaller buildings nearby, but I noticed that they had been torn down since I was here last. I hope they don't tear down the house.
I have a friend whose writings I really admire and he had this to say about this photo:
"Ohmygod, I wanna go there, right then, right now, just run romping through the limp grass as the wind dances in ripples across its face with drops spattering my cheeks then drenching me in a downpour as I arrive on the rickety porch, sheltered by the decrepit overhang, laughing in the storm."
