What don't you like about it?

Like? I said it don't look right. I "like" it fine.

Mood.

I am at the scene, in front of the forest. Nature's natural beauty is everywhere. Beauty abounds!

Then unnaturally, the water distracts. It doesn't add or balance the scene. "Unnatural" needs to be balanced, or not used at all.

Somewhere a complimentary or contrasting effect would make the mood.

If you were to take the whole picture as it is now, and use a photoshop filter like "Watercolor" or "Acrylic", then the totality of the picture would be brought to balance, as the effects on the water would not be singly identifiable.

On the other hand, if you want to promote the feel of the water, then blur the background (mist fog). That draws attention to the effect, and thus shows you intended to go for the "unnatural" look. (Which some people "like".)

I am a better critic than artist. You are the pro (in art), believe me. But I am a good, and constructive art critic.
