In contrast of the first picture that I submitted of this waterfall, this shot shows the rocks and also the log that finally dislodged from blocking the view of the falls.
Speaking purely technical, your photo is as good as most of your other shots, meaning excellent. The image is sharp and nicely colored and the shutter speed is proper for the overall "flow." The softness of the water surface reflection between the rocks gives the photo a tranquil expression.
Yet, when I look at the photo, my eyes are jumping back and forth. When I try to move from the rocks over the log to the fall, I get lost. I think it is because there are too many competing focus points that lack inter-connectivity.
For me, this photo is a composition of 3 individual sections, the rocks, the log, and everything else in the background. The horizontal positioning of the log is working as a visual divide, cutting off the front 2/3, rather than serving as a guide through the shot (leading from front to back). That leaves the waterfall and its stunning bowl shaped surrounding cut off from the majority of the shot.
Of course, as usual, that is only my impression, but I hope I expressed my thoughts well enough to be understood,
