This place is considered one of the most photogenic areas for skiing and snowboarding and every time I have gone there, I am always in awe of it's beauty. I think the people that live there might take the beauty for granted, but I always try to soak up all that delicious scenery every chance I get!
Do you ever have this feeling when photographing; like you will never be able to capture the moment, of all of the grandiose feeling that you are experiencing.
That majestic mountains with rivers and birds and caribou are reduced to a hill of snow?
There are times when I photograph a scene and look at my LCD screen and think, "That just doesn't do this justice whatsoever." And then there are times when I take a shot and look at my LCD and think, "Wow, that makes this look so much better than it really is." Between the two, I think I keep about even.
It is kind of like, "Look at this majestic shot!"
But to others it is the ordinary view of a daily walk.
That majestic mountains with rivers and birds and caribou are reduced to a hill of snow?
That is my photography, the hill of snow.
And then there are times when I take a shot and look at my LCD and think, "Wow, that makes this look so much better than it really is."
Between the two, I think I keep about even.
